In Wielkopolska there is a place where the willingness to help meets the great need of the heart. For 20 years, the Amicis Foundation has been supporting individuals, families and institutions from Wronki, Poznań and the surrounding areas that need support the most. By operating locally, it unites people around a common goal, which is to bring good. The foundation's activities are not only financial and material support, but also close contact with those in need. This is help that comes straight from the heart - from people to people.

Although the support is broad, the donations made do not reach far, they stay in our immediate surroundings to help children from local schools and kindergartens, patients in hospitals and hospices, people with disabilities and families in difficult life situations.

Gift of the Heart – together for those in need

One of the traditional initiatives of the Amicis Foundation is the “Gift of the Heart” campaign, carried out just before the holidays. December is a time when we especially want to share goodness. Last year, thanks to the involvement of donors, the Magovox Foundation and volunteers from the Amica Group, we managed to donate:

  • 470 packages full of Christmas treats and basic food products
  • 400 packages with high-quality cold cuts for families in the vicinity of Wronki and Poznań
  • 250 packages with toys and sweets for children from less affluent families

An additional surprise for the youngest, as every year, was the OSP Amica fire brigade's Saint Nicholas convoy, which not only delivered packages but also created a truly Christmas atmosphere.

- The Gift of the Heart campaign, one of the most important initiatives of the Amicis Foundation, is more than just packages. It is a symbol of remembrance and support that people struggling with difficulties need so much. Every year we meet to do something good for others. Thanks to the involvement of donors, volunteers and firefighters from the Amica Volunteer Fire Department, we can bring hope and joy, thus building a community based on kindness and empathy, for which we are very grateful - says Małgorzata Rutkowska, president of the Amicis Foundation.

Sport that helps

Movement is health, but also an opportunity to help! As part of the Amica Group Sports Challenge, the Amica Group team covered thousands of kilometers together, and each step translated into specific financial support.

The collected PLN 87,000 went to charity:

  • purchase of chemotherapy chairs for the University Clinical Hospital in Poznań,
  • furnishing the gym at the Special School Complex in Kowanówek,
  • purchase of video laryngoscope sets for SPZOZ in Międzychód,
  • financial support for the Folkekøkkenet Kolding shelter in Denmark, a place that is particularly close to the employees of the GRAM subsidiary, which is part of the Amica Group.
