The Polish Business International Champion Awards (Polska Firma – Międzynarodowy Czempion) showcases Polish businesses which invest abroad and export to become effective global players. This was the 7th time that Polish companies which invest abroad and/or operate profitable export operations have competed for the International Champion title. The awards were divided into five categories. Amica was the winner in the best exporter in the large enterprise sector.

Amica appliances are sold in 62 countries. These include markets in Europe and more exotic destinations, like Taiwan, Thailand, Australia and Saudi Arabia. The products feature excellence in design and are backed by a smart sales strategy to help the Amica Group grow sales in the most demanding markets, including the countries of traditionally Western Europe. High quality, a wide selection of products and an extensive portfolio of brands recognised in different markets have increased the export sales of Amica by up to 70%.

“We are extremely happy that the Jury, comprising excellent specialists from PwC and Puls Biznesu, recognised the success of the Amica Group abroad. Amica’s growth strategy relies critically on export growth and market diversification; without these two key components in place, Amica would not grow as dynamically as it does today.” “The specific nature and demands of the home appliance market forces its players to be present in all product categories, if they want to lead the pack. The appliances that Amica sells are often designed with very unique consumer needs in mind, which vary between markets,” Dariusz Kaszkowiak says, International Business Director for Amica Group.

Amica always monitors global trends and considers them in formulating its strategies. Amica carries out R&D prior to launching new product lines. Amica understands that for home appliances, a new market entry usually requires adaptation of the products to the technical preconditions of the national market, and successful product certification by the local authorities.
