The Amica S.A. Group announces that it has acquired the rights to use the Sauter brand on the French market, a move that strengthens its presence in one of Western Europe’s key markets and expands its brand portfolio by adding a well-recognised premium brand with a history that goes back over 120 years.

The Sauter brand was founded in 1902 in Alsace by Frédéric Sauter. It has built a strong position on the French market over the decades and has become renowned for quality, innovation and design, particularly in the cookware segment. As early as the 1990s, the company was one of the pioneers of induction technology in Europe, which has become increasingly popular in many European markets. Sauter continues to maintain its innovative position and remains one of the leading manufacturers of household appliances in France, particularly in the category of kitchen cooking appliances.

Sauter specialises in built-in appliances – ovens, hobs, cooker hoods and freestanding cookers – offering carefully designed products that combine modern design with intuitive operation and advanced features.

‘The acquisition of the rights to the Sauter brand on the French market is an important step in our strategy to further internationalise and strengthen Amica’s position in Western Europe. Sauter is a brand with a unique heritage, deeply rooted in french culinary culture, through which we aim to create value for customers by developing innovative products tailored to their needs’, says Maja Rutkowska, Vice-President of the Management Board of Amica S.A. responsible for the French market.

Sauter is a brand especially valued by customers who look for reliable and durable premium solutions thanks to its history and focus on quality and functionality. Analysis of user feedback indicates that the products are highly rated in terms of durability, ease of use, and aesthetics, matching both modern and traditional interiors.

‘The inclusion of the Sauter brand in our portfolio on the French market is a strategic decision that allows us to respond even better to the needs of local consumers. We combine the strength and experience of Amica with the reputation and heritage of one of France’s most recognisable household appliance brands. We believe that this step will ensure the continued, dynamic growth of our business in France. We are proud to continue the tradition by maintaining production of the Sauter brand in Europe’, emphasises Robert Stobiński, President of the Management Board of Amica S.A.

The acquisition of the rights to use the Sauter brand forms part of Amica S.A.’s long-term strategy, based on growth through strong, locally rooted brands and the consistent strengthening of its position in the cooking appliances segment, including built-in kitchen appliances. This allows Amica to expand its presence in the demanding French market by offering products that meet consumers’ growing expectations in terms of quality, innovation and energy efficiency.
